Membership in this gathering is not extended lightly. The residence in question — known to its keeper as Chateau Dreux — has stood, by design, outside public record since February of 2025, observed by few, documented by fewer, properly welcomed by no one at all.
That omission concludes on the evening of August 1st, when the doors are opened in full, for the first and, by charter, only time. What has been withheld will be revealed. What has been private will, briefly, be shared.
The keeper of the residence departs for the Pacific within the year, and what remains of his tenure will close exactly as it opened — door unlocked, lights low, something humming quietly in another room. Two occasions, a housewarming considerably overdue and a farewell considerably early, observed as one.
Guests are advised not to dwell on which moment they are currently experiencing. It rarely helps.
Entry is, and always has been, complimentary. We simply needed you to feel something first.
